Last updated: July 2, 2026 · Last reviewed: July 2, 2026
Our commitment
HandleHQ is committed to making its website and platform accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Our conformance target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we track WCAG 2.2 as we continue to improve.
Scope of this statement
This statement covers the handlehq.net marketing website, including the application form. The client dashboard (app.handlehq.net) has not yet been formally assessed; it is listed as a known limitation below and is on our roadmap.
Conformance status
The handlehq.net marketing site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform. The known gaps are listed below and we are actively working to address them.
Known limitations
- Mobile navigation: keyboard and screen reader support for the mobile menu is still under review.
- The client dashboard (app.handlehq.net) has not yet been formally audited against WCAG.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure throughout the site.
- All navigation links are keyboard-focusable on desktop.
- All CTAs and links use descriptive text.
- Font sizes use relative units (rem/clamp) and scale with browser settings.
- No auto-playing audio or video content.
- Skip navigation link on all marketing pages for keyboard and screen reader users.
- ARIA landmarks on all pages:
<main id="main-content">and<nav aria-label="Main navigation">. prefers-reduced-motionsupport: CSS animations (fade-in, status pulse) on animated pages are disabled for users who have requested reduced motion in their OS settings.- Text colour contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA (minimum 4.5:1) across all marketing pages.
- Decorative icons and UI elements (brand marks, channel icons) marked with
aria-hidden="true"so screen readers skip them. - Accessible form validation on the application form: labelled fields,
aria-invalidstates, live-region error messages, and focus management on errors.
Assessment approach
HandleHQ assessed the marketing site by self-evaluation, using manual keyboard testing and review of the markup against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria. This statement was last reviewed on July 2, 2026, and is reviewed whenever significant changes are made to the site.
